Makailah works as a Police Service Representative in the City of Marietta’s Police Department, a role she’s held for nearly two years, driven by her passion for the criminal justice system. Makailah lives in a two-bedroom townhouse with her mother Matilda, her sister Madison, and her son Ayden. Despite the close quarters, this multigenerational household shares a strong bond, with Matilda and Madison helping to raise Ayden. They are thrilled to partner with Habitat for Humanity to build their future, gain more space, and create a legacy in Marietta – the city where Matilda was born, and their family has deep roots. Ayden and Madison look forward to having their own rooms and a yard for a dog. The family is deeply grateful to Habitat for Humanity and its supporters for making their homeownership dream a reality
