Luis & Marisol are a devoted couple from New Jersey now residing in Douglasville, Georgia. Luis is a U.S. Army veteran and dedicated father who spends his free time volunteering to coach youth sports, shaping the next generation with the same compassion that guided him through childhood. Marisol is a full-time caregiver for her family, who was inspired by her mother’s health struggles to prioritize her role as a nurturer. Together, they are raising three energetic and outgoing boys: 12-year-old Zechariah, 6-year-old Micah, and 1-year-old Mateo.
The family’s current housing is rife with concerns, from water damaged ceilings to creaky floors, rising rents and limited space, and most importantly, unsafe streets which make playing outside impossible for their children. Luis & Marisol are ecstatic and eager to build a home that will be their safe haven. They express heartfelt thanks to each person involved in this life-changing process and a desire to pay it forward, demonstrating the spirit of selflessness with which their family strives to live.
