Tracey has been working for the City of Marietta for almost 20 years and was the first woman to join the Sanitation Services Division of Public Works. She worked her way up to a position as Sanitation Foreperson and uses her leadership to inspire others to reach their professional goals and better provide for their families.

Tracey has been striving to buy a home of her own that she can fill with love and fun – instead of worries about broken windows and water leaks – but she could not qualify for a mortgage large enough to match the rising costs of housing, and existing homebuyer assistance programs could not help. Her determination paid off when she was selected to purchase a home through Habitat’s partnership with the City of Marietta.

Tracey has a benevolent spirit and lives life with love and compassion for others, so she’s not only excited to have her own space, but also a kitchen where she can bring others together to make and share food and a space for her 85-year-old mother to come if she ever needs to.
