Quintasha is the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police for the City of Austell, for Chief Orrin Scott Hamilton. She was born in Hartwell, GA and raised in Atlanta. Quintasha got custody of her 17-year-old niece, Angel, when she was an infant, after she was placed in the care of the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services. She also raised her nephew who was five at the time and is now an adult. Currently, she and Angel live in a home in Austell that is too small for their family and still has a floor furnace which they have to step over while walking through the house.

Quintasha is most excited to become a homeowner because she will have a legacy to leave her adopted daughter and be the first in her family to own a home. She always strives to be an active member of her community, starting a neighborhood “Back to School Bash” when she lived in College Park, and now involved in Keep Cobb Beautiful and planning to implement “Adopt a Street” where she lives in Austell. When asked what she would like to say to the Habitat sponsors and volunteers, Quintasha said, "Thank you. You have literally changed our lives, and there's nothing we can do to repay you, but our plan is to continue to volunteer and donate to the work that you do."

Building Homes. Changing Lives.
Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta

Since 1986, Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta has helped families in Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding counties achieve the dream of homeownership. What started as a small group inspired by the global Habitat mission has grown into a movement—powered by people like you.

Through your support, we’ve built hundreds of homes and empowered families with stability, pride, and a place to call their own. Our model works: future homeowners help build their homes, purchase them with affordable mortgages, and create lasting change for generations to come.

As the need for affordable housing grows, so does our determination to meet it—with your help.

Thank you for being part of our story.
Together, we’re creating stronger communities—one home at a time.
