Hello dear friends. I need help with my BABY registry….As you all know I volunteer regularly with Habitat for Humanity (my baby). This year we have an opportunity to do a Women Build, a house that will be constructed by female volunteers. We are fortunate enough to have a piece of land donated by the City of Marietta located near Elizabeth Porter Park. We will be building a home for Makailah, a City of Marietta Police Dept employee. The construction should start on 5/31/25. However, in order for that to happen, we need to reach our goal of $170k to sponsor a house. With less than 3 months left, we are still shy of that goal. I have a personal goal of raising $5k and I’m appealing to my friends to help me reach it. Any donations big or small are greatly appreciated. To give some perspective on how much impact each donation can provide: $10 – hammer to hit the nails $25 – covers 500 nails for the hammers to hit into the studs to build walls $50 – a mailbox $75 – a new light fixture $100 – paint for the walls $275 – a new window $500 – new appliances I have heard many of y’all telling me that you would love to volunteer one day, and here is a chance to get your hands dirty and volunteer, it is “pay to play”. I can get you a volunteer spot (females) for a measly $100 donation or more for multiple days to my link. And guys, you can sponsor a lady in your life for this opportunity.
